Reflections

In this section of ‘Lockdown 2020’ I’m exploring watercolour shadow images and photographed reflections on glass with key pieces that represent a memory.  I’ve left the red string out of these.  I often use red string to illustrate a connecting line of/to memory.

Version 2

Above: ‘Reflection’ is a photographic still life that, through the objects in the foreground and the reflected image on glass, reference memories.  The viewer inside looking out heavily references ‘lockdown’. The house in the image is not there, its a reflection.  While taking this image I was also thinking of photographic processes and how the image is traditionally bounced from surface to surface to create the photograph.
